Mission: Cape Cod Children's Place is a non-profit resource, referral, and education center committed to providing high-quality care, support, and advocacy for families with young children in order to sustain a healthy community for Cape Cod's future. Located at 10 Ballwic Avenue, in North Eastham, Cape Cod Children's Place has been in operation since 1995 serving as the hub of services and up-to-date information and referral for over 500 local families annually. All Cape Cod Children's Place programs and services are created in response to expressed needs of families, to fill service gaps in the Lower and Outer Cape communities of Brewster, Chatham, Eastham, Harwich, Orleans, Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet. Cape Cod Children's Place offers year-round Massachusetts-licensed childcare for ages 1 month-5 years at its center in Eastham; and for ages 1 month-3 years at its Sea-Babies program, located at the Wellfleet Council on Aging and sponsored in part by Seamen's Bank. Cape Cod Children's Place is supported by grants from Massachusetts Dept. of Early Education and Care, Massachusetts Children's Trust Fund, Cape Cod Foundation, Cape Cod 5 Charitable Foundation, local municipalities, churches, private contributions, and by Early Childhood program fees and tuitions. |
